HLTFA402B - Apply Advanced First Aid

This unit deals with the provision of advanced first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance, and provision of support to other providers. This unit builds on HLTFA301B - Apply First Aid to include additional skills and use of a range of equipment.

HLTFA404A - Apply Advanced Resuscitation Techniques

Duration

8 hours face to face

Nationally Accredited Certification on Completion

On successful completion of the course, the participant will receive a Statement of Attainment, which is valid for 3 years. As per the Australian Resuscitation Council Guidelines the HLTCPR201A - Perform CPR unit needs to be completed every 12 months.

Assessment

Tactical Training uses progressive assessment throughout the course including multiple course questionnaires. Successfully complete a multiple-choice theoretical assessment, demonstrate practical application of skills and answer structured verbal questions in a one on one or group capacity throughout the course.
