Language, Literacy & Numeracy Special Needs Clients

Provision for language, literacy & numeracy assessment

We provide advice, support and help for language, literacy and numeracy assistance on request. We will also monitor the needs of our learner’s language, literacy and numeracy skills through:

our pre-enrolment interviews
enrolment forms; and
through-out the learning and assessment process.

If at any time we feel a learner requires language, literacy and numeracy assistance we will either:

advise them that they are ineligible to participate in a course until their language literacy skills are of an acceptable employment skills standard
refer them to a specialised training provider;or
tailor learning and assessment materials (where possible) to match learner needs
Our trainers/assessors will provide individual attention to learners who require reasonable adjustment to assist with language, literacy and numeracy needs.

Special Needs

Participants with special requirements or needs such as:

wheel chair access
cultural or religious requirement's
physical, medical or psychological needs

are requiered to talk with us in private so we can make confidential arrangements to assist you. All participants will be treated with respect, due consideration, and confidentiality will be respected at all times; however trainers cannot be held responsible for not making reasonable adjustments to training delivery and or assessment if a participant elects not to disclose a personal limitation or learning difficulty that may prevent them from successfully completing the course they are undertaking.
