Workplace Emergency Response TrainingAS3745-2010This information-packed course goes beyond the requirements of Australian Standard 3745-2010 which provides the minimum requirements for workplace emergency procedures and evacuation. Chief/Deputy Chief Warden training delivered by Tactical focuses on the actions to be taken by the emergency control organisation (ECO) and all occupants once an emergency occurs. It is designed to ensure an appropriate response to an emergency up to the arrival of the emergency services. Participants learn in a fully inter-active environment using realistic emergency simulations involving fire, smoke, physical injuries and special effects unique to Tactical Training Australia to provide participants with the skills, knowledge and 'hands on' experience to prepare Chief/Deputy Chief Wardens with the confidence to take charge during a workplace emergency. . Designed forAll staff and occupants of any workplace who are required to make decisions about the safety of people during a workplace emergency or those persons who lead and/or communicate instructions to members of the ECO during emergencies. Course contentThe Chief/Deputy Chief Warden course covers all aspects of the Warden/floor Area Warden course plus the knowledge and skills to: prepare for workplace emergencies, apply command, control, and coordination aspects of workplace emergency procedures, control the response to emergency reports, signals, and warnings, coordinate reports and results of initial emergency response, incident planning and conducting evacuations as part of the emergency control organisation committee. Duration8 hours - highly Practical Skill Workshop Times of trainingStarts at 0900hrs with lunch, morning and afternoon breaks. There is plenty of discussion time for any questions with the course finishing about 1630hrs. Nationally accredited Certification awarded on completionOn successful completion of the course, the participant will receive a statement of attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework for the following units of competency:

Dress codeDue to the practical components of the course, participants are advised to wear comfortable casual attire with closed shoes, a hat and sun cream for protection. AssessmentTactical Training uses progressive assessment throughout the course. This includes responding to verbal and written theoretical assessment, demonstration of practical skills in a one on one or group capacity.
